He is a former Chairman of the Board of the Atlanta = Business=20 League, a former Vice-Chairman of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and an = active=20 member of the Action Forum.

Retired Lieutenant General Art Gregg has more = than 40 years=20 of professional experience, having held senior level command and staff = positions=20 in the military and several executive positions in industry. During the = course=20 of his career, through ongoing education and experience, he developed a = broad=20 and in-depth knowledge of military operations and business management. = His=20 record of performance demonstrates his ability to lead organizations to = success,=20 including new businesses and turn-around situations. As a result of his=20 extensive experience, he is well known in the military services and the = business=20 community. General Gregg retired from active management in July 1996 but = continues an active schedule as a member of several corporate and = academic=20 boards. He also serves as the Honorary Colonel of the Quartermaster = Regiment,=20 helping to inspire its members through a better understanding of its = history and=20 heritage. General Gregg is a Governor of the Opportunity Funding=20 Corporation.
Art Gregg received his Bachelor of Science in = Business=20 Administration from Saint Benedict College, graduating summa cum laude. = He has=20 completed graduate level courses at the Army War College and at the = Command and=20 General Staff College and completed the Executive Program in National = Security=20 at Harvard University=92s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Avery Munnings is a partner in the Atlanta-based = Mergers=20 & Acquisitions Group (M&A) of Deloitte & Touche LLP where he = serves=20 as a full-time M&A professional. =20 During his tenure with Deloitte, Avery has spent most of his time = serving=20 large public companies mostly engaged in rapid expansion through merger = and=20 acquisition activity. His industry experience also includes financial=20 institutions, financial services, manufacturing, professional services = and high=20 technology. During his time in the Deloitte national office, he also = developed=20 numerous training courses and designed training materials which are used = by=20 Deloitte on a national basis. = He=20 also co-authored two publications which have been distributed throughout = Deloitte worldwide. Clark Atlanta University has undergraduate and = graduate=20 enrollments of about 5,000 students along with 275 full-time faculty. = Clark=20 Atlanta is the largest institution in the AUC and located in the heart = of=20 Atlanta. Dr. Bhuiyan worked as a marketing executive and = consultant=20 for the British American Tobacco, UNDP, FAO, and a number of other = corporations.=20 Before joining Clark Atlanta University, he taught and served as = Assistant Dean=20 and Department Head at Hampton University, Fort Valley State University, = Savannah State University, University of Florida and the University of=20 Dhaka.

Kemp
1934 - 2000
The =93Entrepreneurial Spirit=94 that drove C. = Robert Kemp is=20 his heritage. Spanning three decades, his many contributions to minority = economic development are legend. He strongly encouraged his fellow OFC = Governors=20 to fund this OFC Venture Challenge.
C. Robert Kemp was born on the 26th of = May 1934,=20 the fifth child of Clemie and Reda Kemp. He met and married his first = wife,=20 Carolyn Carmichael, in Detroit where he grew up. They had two children, = Roderick=20 and Jenine.
With a hunger for adventure and a desire to reach = new=20 horizons, he served in the U.S. Air Force, serving his tour of duty in = Northern=20 Africa. Bob began his studies at Washington University in St. Louis, = Missouri.=20 He studied electrical engineering at the University of Washington in = Seattle,=20 and then went to work for Boeing Aircraft. Moving to California, he = joined TRW=20 as a design engineer and volunteered as a staff assistant for an Equal=20 Opportunity Program. He participated in a Carnegie Fellowship program at = the=20 Urban Executive Leadership Institute.
He met Wilbertean (Tina) Bowser who became his = second wife;=20 they had two children, Ronald and Andrea. Tina was a loving and = supportive=20 spouse for the remaining years of his life until her passing in 1999. At = TRW,=20 Bob learned his management skills. In the late sixties, feeling God = called him=20 to assist minorities in businesses, Bob became President of Interracial = Council=20 for Business Opportunities, a business assistance program in Watts. In = the early=20 seventies as President and CEO of Economic Resources Corporation, he = developed=20 the Watts Industrial Park, the first mini-complex of its kind featuring = a day=20 care for its employees.
Continuing his education, he received a Masters = in Business=20 Administration from UCLA. Appointed to the U.S. Department of Commerce, = he moved=20 to Washington, D.C. to fulfill his duties as Executive Director of the=20 Interagency Council for Minority Business Enterprise. During this time, = he=20 attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology=92s Executive Program and = the Board=20 of Directors Program at Stanford University. In the early eighties, Bob = left the=20 government to become President and CEO of Opportunity Funding = Corporation, an=20 investment company dedicated to channeling capital to minority owned=20 enterprises. Under his leadership, OFC created a number of ventures to = assist=20 minority enterprises: NDC = Inc., a=20 real estate development company; Syndicated Communications, Inc.; Syncom = Capitol=20 Corporation; Fulcrum Venture Capital Corporation; S & L Acquisition = Company,=20 Inc. During this time, he was appointed as Commissioner and Chairman of = the=20 State of Virginia Housing Development Authority.
In the nineties, Bob moved back to Los Angeles to = become=20 Chairman of Family Savings Bank FSB, which was acquired by OFC. After = selling=20 Family Savings Bank, Bob became President of the newly formed Los = Angeles=20 Community Bank, a demonstration project of the Clinton Administration = and the=20 largest of its kind in the nation. In 2000, he retired from full time = work due=20 to a lung condition.
Throughout his life, he volunteered his expertise = by=20 serving on many community and advisory boards. He has been honored by = being=20 listed in Who=92s Who in = Finance and=20 Industry and Who=92s Who = Among Black=20 Americans: Living Legends in Black and by the City of Los Angeles as = a=20 citizen and scholar.
While on a waiting list for a lung transplant, = God called=20 him home on October 18, 2000. He is survived by his admiring children, = his=20 grandchildren, his loving siblings and a host of relatives and close = friends who=20 have known him since his days at Pershing High back on the block in The = Motor=20 City.
