Clark Atlanta University is a member of the = consortium of=20 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) known as the = Atlanta=20 University Center (AUC). Clark Atlanta University has undergraduate and = graduate=20 enrollments of about 5,000 students along with 275 full-time faculty. = Clark=20 Atlanta is the largest institution in the AUC and located in the heart = of=20 Atlanta. It offers undergraduate, masters, professional and doctoral=20 degrees.
The Clark Atlanta = University=20 School of Business with its diverse faculty and integrated curricula = prepares=20 undergraduate students for professional careers in accounting, finance,=20 marketing, international business, general management and = entrepreneurship.=20 Masters of Business Administration (MBA) students pursue advanced = courses in=20 business management with concentrations in marketing, finance or = decision=20 science. The School offers MBA programs and undergraduate degrees that = are fully=20 accredited by the AACSB, the International Association for Management = Education.=20 There are approximately 800 undergraduate and 150 graduate students = currently=20 enrolled in degree programs at the School.
Dean of the School of Business, Dr. Edward Davis, =
has a=20
distinguished record of achievement in quantitative analysis, strategic=20
planning, information systems and entrepreneurship. There are over 30 =
full-time=20
faculty with 23 doctoral degrees and a graduate placement rate of =
85%.
Mohammad Ali Bhuiyan, currently an Associate = Professor and=20 Director of the OFC Venture Challenge at Clark Atlanta University, = received his=20 Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida, MBA degree from Georgia = State=20 University, another MBA degree from the Indian Institute of = Management-Bangalore=20 and an undergraduate degree from the University of Dhaka. He received = his=20 leadership training from Harvard University (HBS and KSG), Center for = Creative=20 Leadership, Emory University, and ACE.
Dr. Bhuiyan worked as a marketing executive and = consultant=20 for the British American Tobacco, UNDP, FAO, and a number of other = corporations.=20 Before joining Clark Atlanta University, he taught and served as = Assistant Dean=20 and Department Head at Hampton University, Fort Valley State University, = Savannah State University, University of Florida and the University of=20 Dhaka.
Dr. Bhuiyan's main teaching interest is in the=20
international business management, marketing, entrepreneurship and =
leadership=20
area. His research interest is in the areas of international trade and=20
competitiveness, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Dr. Bhuiyan has =

Thomas Winston Cole, = Jr. is Clark=20 Atlanta University's first president. He heads the largest College = Fund/UNCF=20 institution with approximately 5200 graduate and undergraduate students, = and=20 1100 faculty and staff. Dr. Cole began his professional career in 1966 = when he=20 joined the faculty of Atlanta University. Dr. Cole has held visiting=20 professorships at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the = University of=20 Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. From 1982 to 1986, Dr. Cole served as = President of=20 West Virginia State College. In 1986, he became the Chancellor of the = West=20 Virginia Board of Regents. Following the historic consolidation of Clark = College=20 and Atlanta University, he served simultaneously as President of both=20 institutions and was appointed President of Clark Atlanta University in = 1989.=20 Dr. Cole is Chairman of the Council of Presidents of the Member = institutions of=20 the College Fund/UNCF. His honors include Southern Regional Fellow = (University=20 of Texas); Woodrow Wilson Fellow, and listings in Who's Who in the South = and=20 Southwest and American Men of Science. Dr. Cole has served as Senior = Associate=20 with the American Council on Education, Strategic Planning Project, = University=20 of Zululand, South Africa. He also serves on the Board of Directors of = Africa=20 University, Zimbabwe (a United Methodist-related institution).Dr. Cole = serves on=20 the boards of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Central Atlanta Project, = Georgia=20 Research Alliance, and Advisory Board of the Martin Luther King, Jr. = Center for=20 Nonviolent Social Change.
Thomas Cole graduated with honors from Wiley = College and=20 earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chicago.

ARTHUR GREGG
Retired Lieutenant General Art Gregg has more = than 40 years=20 of professional experience, having held senior level command and staff = positions=20 in the military and several executive positions in industry. During the = course=20 of his career, through ongoing education and experience, he developed a = broad=20 and in-depth knowledge of military operations and business management. = General=20 Gregg retired from active management in July 1996 but continues an = active=20 schedule as a member of several corporate and academic boards. He also = serves as=20 the Honorary Colonel of the Quartermaster Regiment, helping to inspire = its=20 members through a better understanding of its history and heritage. = General=20 Gregg is a Governor of the Opportunity Funding Corporation.
Art Gregg received his Bachelor of Science in = Business=20 Administration from Saint Benedict College, graduating summa cum laude. = He has=20 completed graduate level courses at the Army War College and at the = Command and=20 General Staff College and completed the Executive Program in National = Security=20 at Harvard University=92s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Sidney=20 Harris was named Dean of J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia = State=20 University in July 1997. = During his=20 tenure as dean, he has reformulated the strategic direction of the = College,=20 raised over $25 million and launched two new research institutes: Herman = J.=20 Russell International Center for Entrepreneurship and the e-Commerce = Institute.=20 He began his professional career with Bell Telephone Laboratories in New = Jersey=20 and moved to Georgia State University. =20 In 1987 he joined the faculty of the Peter F. Drucker Graduate = School of=20 Management as professor of management and was appointed chair of the = Management=20 Program in 1990. He = served as dean=20 of the Drucker from 1991‑1996. Some=20 of the companies he has consulted with include GM/Hughes Electronics, = The=20 Coca‑Cola Company, Xerox Corporation, IBM, Hewlett Packard, = BellSouth Services,=20 and AT&T.
